About

Born in Mallorca in 1980. After graduating in Biology at Barcelona University (2003) and finished my photo studies at IEFC (2000-2002) and a postgraduate studies in photojournalism (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona 2003) I decided to devote my life to the study of the most complex specie on the planet and to which I belong to: Homo sapiens sapiens. Photography became the perfect tool for my investigations. Since then I have worked as an independent photographer and conceptual artists focused on human beings and their interactions with the world. Trying to understand the complexity of being human.

If I have to define my job I would say I love to think, photograph and share. So I work as an ARTIST, a PHOTOGRAPHER, and a VISUAL EDUCATOR.

Since 2018 up to date I am teacher and director of the photographic area at LABASAD Barcelona School of Art & Design.
My work is represented by Rocío SantaCruz Gallery, Barcelona.
And my first surname is Benito.
